Let's Have a Tea Party...

My little Emelia is having a Tea Party for her 4th Birthday! My friend Nikki has the Sizzix retired teapot die...so I e-mailed Nikki (from Smells Like Homemade) and asked her is I could borrow it from her...She is the best so she said YES!!! We were very excited! Here are her invitations!

Emelia ran all the pretty paper through my bigshot herselt! I then cut all the pieces at the perforated sections and then she helped me glue the pieces back on...only 3 and already paper piecing! The paper we used is the Garden Party stack from Die cuts with a view Stephanie Hester from "My Card Shack" was generous enough to send me an incredibly amazing package this week and this paper pack was one of the things in it...along with many other amazing things. Girl you are amazing! THANK YOU so much!!!

Emelia fell in love with The Garden Party collection the minute I opened the box and said she wanted to use it for her invitations...she then went to my cardstock collection and picked rose red...which matched perfectly! This girl has an eye! I also got another package that had basic grey buttons and she asked if we could use those...I love vreating with her! He's too cute!

Here is the inside...Nikki had made an invitation with the tea pot last year and she had figured out all the proper placement...she was kind enough to e-mail me the template so all I had to do is insert my information! Thank you Nikki!!! You saved me a whole lot of trouble!

If you have this die and would like the word document for the wording please just e-mail me at mabieme1999@yahoo.com with "tea pot template" as the subject.

Supplies:
Stamps: None, the you're invited is computer generated
Ink: none
Paper: Garden party DP by Die Cuts with a view, rose red, green galore, very vanilla
Accessories: Basic grey buttons, linnen thread, glue dots, rode red ribbon, word window punch, heart punch, big shot, teapot die

Hello friends...it's time once again for LPS Mondays...as in Little Paper Shop Mondays!!!

We have a very very fun sketch for you today and I think you are going to LOVE playing along with us!!! Bellow you will find the sketch in all it's prettiness! Did you know that if you play along with the DT using this sketch you can be entered to win a FREE stamp sets? The stamp set this week is: {MERRY AND BRIGHT} Now this is my little card...and I do mean little, I went for the micro card or tag...either one. This card actually measure 3.5 inches tall by 2.75 inches wide...so tine and sooo cute! O added a hole punch on the top corner and some ribbon and it is now a tag! SWEET!!! This is a very simple card but I have been haviong some major headache troubles, so I decided to keep it simple!

The Snow flake stamp is from a set called...you guessed it {Snowflakes} and the sentiment is from {Christmas Wishes}. I used a felt flurries snowflake and some moss ribbon...the ribbon really does look better IRL, with the kraft paper it looks very neat!

Thank you sooo much for stopping by! Please go to the Little Paper Shop Blog to see what the rest of the DT has come up with and that's also where you can enter to win the free {Merry and Bright} stamp set!

Thank you soooo much for stopping by!

Whimsy Monday...{11-9-09}

This weeks challenge over at Whimsy Stamps is to use watercolors...in whatever for that might be! You can use water color pencils, water color wonder crayons, refills and water, the squished ink pads or you can go for the real deal Lucile water colors...totally up to you!

Here is my card!

This little girl is from Whimsy stamps, her name is Princess Emma. I just love how her orange and green gown turned out! I used my watercolor pencils (that I have had for over 10 years) and then a blender pen to get it looking all nice and purty! Added some rhinestones and a sentiment and that's pretty much it...scalloped an edge, used my coluzzle to get a half oval shape and my round tag punch...voila...card made! LOL
Supplies:
Stamps: Princess Emma from Whimsy Stamps, Cupcake Fhiona from Your Next Stamp
Ink: Stazon black
Paper: Designer paper, kiwi kiss, pacific point, whisper white
Accessories: Rhinestones, scallop border punch, rounded tab punch

Ornamental Magnolia

So today I have 2 projects to share with you all. One is an ornament and the other is a card...yeahhh 3-D and flatish...I say flatish because my card has a little big of dimention to it!

The ornament is the double ball ornament from the SCS tutorial found here. It's super easy and these are super cute...although very hard to take a good picture of it!

This card I made using my very fisrt Magnolia stamps! I was blessed to win a challenge on SCS and I got to choose 3 Stamps from Magnolia here...super cute image right! I love this little girl! She was sooo much fun to color! I used my water color pencils and a blender pen and I think she turned out super cute! What do you think?

This card was made for 3 challenges. The first was a challenge over at Just Magnolia to use distressing on your card...can you see my tattered corner? That's as mush as I wanted to distress on this little baby! LOL The next challenge was the sketch from the Friday Sketchers blog and last but not least was a challenge to make a Christmas card over at StampinB's A challenge given by non other than Faith (aka Markiesmom) So there you have it! Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you like my projects! Please be sure to come back tomorrow and see my mondays...they are loaded up with 2 posts...but you're going to LOVE the projects!

Supplies:
Stamps: Merry Christmas Garland by Magnolia-licious
Ink: Stazon Black
Paper: Kraft, real red, whisper white, designer paper
Accessories: paper snips, linnen thread, large felt flurries, water color pencils, blender pens

Thank you sooo much for stopping by! May the Lord bless you today!

Sweet N Sassy Challenge Sketch

Can you please help a 5 year old boy with me?
A little boy named Noah Biorkman is in the last stages of a 2.5 year battle with Neuroblastoma Cancer. He has a week, possibly 2 left to live! His family is celebrating Christmas a little early this year, this weekend to be infact and all Noah's request was tp get LOTS of Christmas cards!!Please help out this little boy and send a card to:
Noah Biorkman
1141 Fountain View Circle
South Lyon, MI48178

This card for the Sweet N Sassy Stamps challenge one on SNR and one on their Sketch Challenge blog... SSS28 to be exact. I used one card for both challenges!

The challenge on SNR was to use a digi image and to use a piece of holly on that card...I used their Thursday Free bee from their webside and then made him a hat and added some liquid applique (does anyone even use that anymore? All I see is flower soft going around...never even seen the stuff myself, but it looks pretty neat!) Anwho, I also used a little charm that says believe...What do you think?
Simple but Cute IMO
Supplies:
Stamps: Duck didi image from Sweet n Sassy Stamps, Holly from {Global} by Little Paper Shop
Paper: retired designer paper, chocolate chip, very vanilla, real red
Accessories: liquid applique, ribbon, charm that says believe, rhinestones
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Happy Stampin,
