Hosting PCP...3D68 challenge

Hello ladies and gents! Today I have been asked to host the 3-D challenge on Paper Craft Planet and I am super excited! For today's challenge we will be to make necklaces or other jewelry out of metal washers.
What you'll need:
metal washers (any size)
leather cord
neclace endings
various beads
sand paper or sanding kit (mine is a precision kit from basic Grey)
adhesive, I used mono multi...either the metal or the regular will work
Crystal effects or diamond glaze to cover.
Add your paper, then sand and cover with crystal effects (I usually let mine dry overnight) Then you add the cord or ribbon and pretties...ans that is all!
Here are some links to tutorials:
DIY Tutorial
Here is a picture of my necklace. I got the leather downtown in leather alley, I'm extremely blessed to have such easy access to wonderful quality leather! And the bead was purchased at the same shop along with the leather endings. I love how it turned out!

Here is a pic of me wearing the necklace...I love it! If you would like to purchase one of these just let meknow! Send me an e-mail or leave me a comment!

Thanks for stopping by!

LPSC74...a sketch by Allison

Todays Little Paper Shop Blog sketch is brought to you by Allison Fillo from Stampin' When I Can...it's a nice sketch, I had a little bit of difficulty trying to get it to come together, but in the end I am pretty satisfied with the results.
I used the stamp set {I Heart} I love the little bird houses, they remind me of love birds...I love birds, especially humming birds...anywho I digress. I simply stamped my image directly on a piece of DP as per the sketch and then I colored the pole with a black marker and the roof with a red marker...tahhh dahhh all done! Super simple, super cute!

Here is the sketch for you! I do hope you'll play along with us over at the Little Paper Shop Blog
This weeks prize to one random participant is {Little Friend} digi image.

Supplies:
Stamps: {I heart} By Little Paper Shop
Ink: Stazon Black
Paper: Cameo Coral, barely bananna, June Bug DP by Basic Grey
Accessories: trim, gingham ribbon, rhinestones, markers

Thank you sooo much for stopping by! And I do hope you'll play along with us!

A little Birdie...

Hello hello! By now you have probably seen the amazing sketch for this week...if not please scroll down :)

I love this sketch, I like the two pieces going perpendicular to the main image panel! For my two pieces I have used the faux suade technique (when you rub a bone folder along one side of a piece of paper and the fibers start to separate, when you peel the two layers apart it looks like suade!) on the two blue strips...they look really cool in real life!

So I am seriously in LOVE with this image, it's a RAM image and it's called Birthday Parade The little owls are too stinkin cute I tell ya! I love them!

I colored my image with watercolor pencils and I think my coloring is getting better! ;) At least that's what I like to tell myself (still dreaming of copics...someday!) and cut it out using the nestabilities label 9 set...love this set of dies! To complete the card I thought some blong was in order...yes this was a boy card...and yes I did infact give it to a little boy last night for his 6th birthday...but a little bling never hurt anyone!

Supplies:
Stamps: Birthday Parade from the RAM collection for PWCO.

Ink: Stazon black
Paper: So saffron, vanilla, Prism blue and green. DP is jillibean soup, cream of mushroom

Accessories: watercolor pencils, blender pens, rhinestones, bigshot, nesties labels 9,

dimentionals, bone folder (for faux suade technique)

Thank you sooo much for stopping by!

Can I just say that I am VERY SAD that this is my last post as a guest designer with Sweet N Sassy Stamps! :( I love the images and all the nice fun people over there! Thank you so much for having me, it has been an honor!

Now onto my card!

I used the stamp set Praying for You, I love the font that this digi set uses! I simply printed the sentiment on a piece of vanilla cardstock and then used my biggest nesties label 9 to cut it out. The designer paper below from the marrakech paper pack by Basic Grey and thebutton is also from Basic Grey. To finish it off I simply added a large prima and some black gingham ribbon...can you say YUMMY!
I love the simplicity of this image and how the sentiment can stand alone without an image.
Supplies:
Ink: none
Paper: kiwi kiss, vanilla, tangerine tango, marrakech DP by Basic Grey
Accessories: fancy scallop punch, black gingham ribbon, nesties label 9, prima flower, basic grey buttons
I also made this card for the Inspiration 238 challenge on SCS...I was inspired by the bright colors of this little bag here although my card went more green than yellow!

And last but not least I used the sketch challenge 89 over at Eat Sleep Stamp.

Thank you sooo much for stopping by!

Thanks again for having me!

Hugs and happy stampin'

LPSC73 Melon Bermuda Summer!

Howdy ho my friends! It's time for another super fun color challenge by Little Paper Shop...I love color challenges! Todays colors (as you might of guessed from my tittle) are Melon Manbo, Bermuda Bay and an optional Summer Sun...I opted to go with a summer sun box of candles :)

This little cake mix was actually a present for my sons 1st grade teacher, as part of her end of the school year gift...her birthday is in August and I though it would be really cute to give her this since we wont be seeing her on her special day!

I love how it turned out! I have seen many packagings like this, but in the end I ended up creating my own with my own measurements. I love the little apron card to match, it has a little pocket for it on the other side of the cake box! I love that it already includes candles and a jar of Hundreads of Thousand (that's how they say Sprinkles in Australia!)

Supplies:

Stamps: Lucy Baking by Little Paper Shop

Ink: Stazon Black

Paper: Tempting turquoise, cameo coral, whisper white

Accessories: water color pencils, blender pens, lace trim, brads,

ribbon (silk and grosgrain)

Thank you sooo much for Stopping by!

Hop on over to the Little Paper Shop Blog to see what the rest of the DT created!

Happy Stampin!
