Monochromatic Whimsy Challenge 30

Hey there my friends...it's time for another Whimsy challenge this week! We are challenging you to create a monochromatic card! Pick one color and some neutrals and go to town! I went with an easel card...don't know how to make one of those? Come on over to the SNR Card Universe Whimsy Stamps group and check out our tutorial...chat with us and keep your eyes peeled for a change to win free stamps from time to time!
Here is my card!
I really like this little girl! Her name is Pajama Time Emma and she is just darling...really reminds me of my sweet daughter Isabella...Anwyho I choose to go with Ruby red as my main color and chocolate chip as an accent. I also used my nesties labels 9 to create my border.

The sentiment is from an MFT set called Isabella Paper doll greetings and I think it's super cute! Might send it to my niece, although my daughter has already claimed it as her own! So we will see!

Join us will you! We would love to see your monochromatic cards as well!

Supplies:

Stamps:Pajama time Emma by Whimsy Stamps

Paper:

Ink:

Accessories: baubles, basic grey buttons, linnen thread, glue dots, nesties labels 9, scallop border punch, water color pencils, blender pen

Hugs and happy Stampin!

And a new event starts Tuesday...an advent event! Trust me you don't want to miss it!

Recycled Little Paper Shop a Sketch challenge {11-30-09}

Little Paper Shop Monday is upon us and Little Paper Shop has a sweet little card set for you! This weeks LPSC40 challenge is to make a card using a previous sketch challenge to create a holiday themed card. I choose to go with one of Cindy's sketches because I think it's super cute! So I made a little gift set! It's a Thankful card set...and since Thanksgiving was just this last week I thought it was appropriate! I know you want to play along! This weeks FAB prize is the {I Heart} set...you sooo need this in your collection!
Here is my little card portfolio...super easy to make! This little card set is going out as a Thanksgiving day gift to my sons teacher...I was slacking a little before Thanksgiving! Been a little busy! I love the tree from the {Chirp} set and the sentiment is from the {Topiary} set.

This little card portfolio is super easy to make! All you do is take a pice of 8.5 x 11 piece of cardstock and fold it in half at the 5.5 inch mark. Rotate your paper around and score again at the 2.5 inch mark. Now fold the portfolio at the 5.5 inch side and cut from the score mark to the end to make the nice even V shape in the middle. Clear as mud right? open back up and fold flaps up, use your crop-a-dial to punch holes and set the eyelets...voila, card portfolio complete!

And here is a pic of the 4 cards. They are simple, but still cute! You can hardly see the versamark trees but they are there!

Supplies:
Stamps:{Chirp} and {Topiary} by Little Paper Shop
Ink:versamark, stazon black, ruby red
Paper:ruby red, basic grey indian summer, very vanilla
Accessories: Crop-a-dial, eyelets, ribbon, scor-tape, prima flowers, buttons

If you need more inspiration with this sketch please check out LPSC25 blog post when the sketch was origionally placed. Lots of gorgeousness there!

Thank you sooo much for stopping by! Have a blessed day!

Emelia's Tea Party Favors

My sweet baby girl had a tea party this weekend...her 4th birthday was yesterday! And she helped me make the invitations (Can be seen here) and she also helped me make the party favors...love that girl...we had sooo much fun!
Doesn't she just look gorgeous! I might be a little partial, but I think she's stunning! LOL Love how she'ss pose for me!

Yes she's in her underoos! I couldn't get her to get dressed that morning! Sheesh! But isn't she handling that big shot like a master!!! When we were working she kept telling me her muscles were getting bigger...and when we were done she started flexing and kissing her arms! HA!!!

Each of the favors had a tea cup and saucer, tea bag of assorted decaf tea, candy necklace, a little ring and earing stickers. The boys had chocolate coins and boyish stickers in theirs. I think the favors turned out cute and I already had a boy tell me he used his tea cup! YEAHHH!!!

WT246- A Sweet Challenge

Hey there my lovely friends! First and foremost I would like to wish everyone a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving! I thank the forefathers of America for their vision for a freedom of religion! A freedom to choose, a freedom to speak what you want! I thank them for going through with their vision no matter how arduous the journey may be! I am thankful to be able to celebrate this Thanksgiving and Lord willing many more to come!

Now onto my sweet challenge! Todays Splitcoaststampers ways to challenge 246 was to use sweets in your project! I have been wanting to try a candy bar ribbon slide for quite some time (even confiscated a candy bar from the kids trick or treating basket and stashed it!) and now I had the chance to do it...I think it turned out super cute and I'm going to give it to one of the guys at the gate of the base...might make a few more, they were super fast and are super cute and make a nice little gift for the guys and gals here that help make this place safe for us all!
And here is my project! Super fabby fab!
Really it took me less than 15 minutes to make this lovely little boy! Hmmm maybe I'll make a little tutorial for these little guys! With different measurements for different candy bars! LOL I think I'm getting ambitious! I already have another tutorial I'm working on, so please be on the lookout for that! P.S. The tag reads Holiday Blessings.
Here is the ribbon slide open.

I think it turned out super cute. I lvoe the colors and those felt snowflakes just add such a nice touch!

Not Stamped, but still yummy!

Today, for the very first time in my entire life, I made mashed potatoes...you know the kind NOT out of the box...and boy were they yummy!!! I actually made garlic mashed potatoes and I think what made them super yummy is the fact that I roasted my own garlic...and this is what the delectable yumminess looked like when it was done roasting!

Ohhh Thank you Pioneer Woman Cooks for your delectable recipes! You are the bestest ever! I hope you enjoy looking at my yummy garlic...and trust me it was as good as it looks!

Have a wonderful day!

Many Blessings!
