Ive gone bananas!

Well not really! I just made some banana nut bread! One of the firefighters on based just moved into their new home and I thought I would be nice and make then a little treat...I know how it is when you just move in and nothing is in the right place and you just want a little something something to snack on...so the kids and I baked, it turned out yummy and I just added a tag and called it a day! This is also for today's SCS WT239 challenge...around the world...and even all the way over here on the Island of Crete, hospitality goes a long way!

I stamped the house from {Home Sweet Home} (retired) by There She Goes in Baja Breeze and then stamped the sentiment over it in Stazon black...easy peasy! Then I layered it on Baja Breeze cardstock added a ribbon and that's all she wrote!

I hope you like my super simple, yet adorable project! Everyone has time to stamp!

Hugs and happy crafting!

SCS Limited Supplies Challenge236...scraplings!

Todays limited supplies challenge 236 is hosted by non other than Moi!!! Me, myself and I! LOL And we are going to make a fun little Scrapling...what is a scrapling you might wonder? It's the little piece that is laft over when you are making a 4x4 card...it's about 4x1.5...pretty darn cute if you as me! My friend Nikki came up with a sample too, it's on her Blog here! Need more samples?
Check out the May issue of Sheet loads...they have a whole issue full of scraplings!!!
Now my card uses There She Goes Stamps which is a HUGE coincidence as the Sheetloads sponsor for that month was also There She Goes...I promise it was coincidence!!!
Supplies:
Paper: Riding hood red, kiwi kiss, chocolate chip, whisper white, designer paper retired SU!
Ink: Stazon timber brown
Accessories: scallop border punch, cuttlebug embossing folder, linnen thread, button, magnet
although I think my little card is super cute and would make a great little note or tag for a friend, I decided to make it into a super cute book mark! Simply added a magnet to the inside and voila!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Please play along in todays challenge with us!!!

For the Love birds

Today's card is made for 2 challenges...yesterdays color challenge and for the TSG16 Chalenge obver on the There She Goes blog The challenge is to incorporate clouds in some wahy on your card or project....I choose to use my circle punch and sponge and ink...cute huh!

My card is actually a pretal card...in the back it folds all ibto itself with 4 rounded corners...so I made a belly band to go around and make it cute!

I started with a plain piece of taken with teal and then folded it all around the card and then punched holes before adhering the pieces together in the back. For the piece of close of close to cocoa, I simply just snipped it with a pair of scissors and adhered it down!

I then stamped the two little birds and colored them in using my blender pen and reinkers, added some crystal effects and some gitter and called it a day! I think glitter look sooooo much better when applied with crystal effects...so much more shiny!!!

The tree's are from a There She Goes retired stamp set and I choose to leave them white because I didn't want them to be the focal point...but I do like how the look on the card! (I have a new set ofThere She goes stamps on it way yo me...I won last weeks challenge (random draw) I'm sooo super excited, so come and play along... you can win too!!!)

Supplies:

Stamps: Home is where the heart is by There She goes, heart from SU! Goody -goody gumdrops, SU! A little birdy told me, SU! God's blessings (sentiment inside)

Paper: Confetti white, shimmery white, taken with teal, close to cocoa

Ink: Close to cocoa, taken with teal, stazon black, tangerine tango, purely pomegranate

Accessories; crystal effects, dazzling diamonds glitter, gem, 1/16th hole punch, 1/8th hole punch,

Thanks for stopping by!

House Warming gift

A very good friend og mine (that I met through SCS) just moved into a new place...so I wanted to send her a little something to maker her place feel like home. I hope you like it Melinda! Actually, I know she likes it! She called me today and told me she got her package and that she loves it! The stamps are from a company called There she Goes, started by Jessica (her blog) an SCS friend of mine, and are no longer available, but you should check them out as they have MANY fabulous sets that ar extremely affordable!
Anywho, this is framed piece of art. The frame was very inexpensive (I got it at the dollar store...hope you don't mind Melinda!) And I used the river rock designer series paper by Stampin' Up! to cover the mat. I then used a piece of water color paper and stamped the images with stazon ink and colored them in with ink refills and an aqua painter. easy peasy!
Here is a close up of the main image. I simply matted it on wild wasabi (oh how I miss this color!) and added some eyelets to jazz it up some!
And last but definately NOT least is a close up of the sentiment. This is what drew me to this set. I just love what it says and it's [perfect for anyone that is moving or has just moved. Jessica has a lot of wonderful sentiments in her line and I can not wait to see what her new release will bring!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you go and check out Jessica's store!
Happy Stampin'
May God bless you today and always!
