I am lovin' this weeks sketch over at Paperworks Co.! Very sweet and simple if you need to get a bunch of cards made...also great to get rid of those tiny paper scraps you have been hoarding for the past who knows how many years! I choose to get rid of a snippet of ribbon I had laying around...I think it turned out cute and aside from the coloring and waiting for the glue to dry the card came together very quick!

So So simple, but still a very nice Christmas card. I choose to use only a bit of the sentiment...I really liked this bit of it...so true!

Supplies:

Stamps: Oh Christmas Tree

Paper: Kraft, glorious green, Prism White

Ink: stazon black

Accessorries: 5/8 inch grosgrain ribbon, dew drops from Creations by AR, glitter, 2-way glue pen, watercolor pencils, blender pens

I know you wand to play along...you just love the sketch too, I can see it in your eyes! ehehe

Thanks soooo much for stopping by! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Hugs and happy Stampin'

Hosting PCP...3D68 challenge

Hello ladies and gents! Today I have been asked to host the 3-D challenge on Paper Craft Planet and I am super excited! For today's challenge we will be to make necklaces or other jewelry out of metal washers.
What you'll need:
metal washers (any size)
leather cord
neclace endings
various beads
sand paper or sanding kit (mine is a precision kit from basic Grey)
adhesive, I used mono multi...either the metal or the regular will work
Crystal effects or diamond glaze to cover.
Add your paper, then sand and cover with crystal effects (I usually let mine dry overnight) Then you add the cord or ribbon and pretties...ans that is all!
Here are some links to tutorials:
DIY Tutorial
Here is a picture of my necklace. I got the leather downtown in leather alley, I'm extremely blessed to have such easy access to wonderful quality leather! And the bead was purchased at the same shop along with the leather endings. I love how it turned out!

Here is a pic of me wearing the necklace...I love it! If you would like to purchase one of these just let meknow! Send me an e-mail or leave me a comment!

Thanks for stopping by!

LPSC74...a sketch by Allison

Todays Little Paper Shop Blog sketch is brought to you by Allison Fillo from Stampin' When I Can...it's a nice sketch, I had a little bit of difficulty trying to get it to come together, but in the end I am pretty satisfied with the results.
I used the stamp set {I Heart} I love the little bird houses, they remind me of love birds...I love birds, especially humming birds...anywho I digress. I simply stamped my image directly on a piece of DP as per the sketch and then I colored the pole with a black marker and the roof with a red marker...tahhh dahhh all done! Super simple, super cute!

Here is the sketch for you! I do hope you'll play along with us over at the Little Paper Shop Blog
This weeks prize to one random participant is {Little Friend} digi image.

Supplies:
Stamps: {I heart} By Little Paper Shop
Ink: Stazon Black
Paper: Cameo Coral, barely bananna, June Bug DP by Basic Grey

So onto my card!
I love love love this little girl! She is soooo cute! I love her little bathingsuit and how she is sitting, you can prop her over a dock or at the beach like I have...endless possibilities! For this card I used some basic Grey DP for the base layer and then I used nesties lable 3 and my coluzzle oval cutter with the out of the box technique. for the coloring i did a whole lot of masking, but the end results were absolutely amazing! (In my opinion anyways!) I then embossed the panel and then punched a heart punch using the same DP. Added some designer paper and that is that! I hope you like it!

Supplies:
Ink: Stazon Black

LPSC70: It's a beautiful skech...

At least I think so! I love this sketch! It's super easy to work with and makes the cutest cards! I do hope you'll play along...there are sooo many posibilities, we would love to see what you come up with! Please check out all the details at the Little Paper Shop Blog! This weeks freebie to one lucky randon winner that plays along with the sketch is Katie Swing.
Here is my card. I used the {I Heart} stamp setand the little tiny birds are from the {Chirp} stamp set. I added the little feet and eye's after I stamped them in cameo coral classic ink. I think they are too stinkin cute! The flower embelishment was made by punching a bunch of starts and then layering them on top of each other, one silk flower and whinestone brad to decorate! This is a relatively simply card, but I love it...the little details of the paper pieced birdhouses and the super cute and tiny rhinestones are a perfect little touch!
Supplies:
Stamps: {Chip} and {I Heart} by Little Paper Shop
Ink: Stazon brown
Paper: Baja Breeze, chocolate chip, cameo coral, PTI white, DP Nook and pantry by Basic Grey
Accessories: fancy scallop punch, watercolor pencils, blender pens, star punch, rhinestone brads, pretties kit, rhinestones, fine tip pen, dimentionals

Here is a picture of the sketch for you...I hope you do play along with us!

And a bunch of others...this is a card for 4 different challenges. The Free for all Challenge on SCS was to make a card based on something we collect that is not craft related...I collect ladybugs...love them, they are just too cute, so when Little Paper Shop came out with {Little Lady Katie} stamp set I was in heaven! The next challenge is the Inspiration challenge 234 for today, also on SCS, the website today was Crate and Barrell, I was inspired by this piece of art work here. The colors really spoke to me...Love them!

The next challenge is from the Oh Alice challenge blog...todays challenge is to use swirls in your creation! Ohh how I love swirls!

And last but not least Little Paper Shop is also sponsoring the Card Patterns . For both of the last two challenges you have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate...that's $30 up for grabs!

I hope you like my card...I love this stamp! I also used my two way glue pen and went over all the raised image areas that I embossed and added glitter... shine makes everything better!!

Supplies:
Ink: stazon black
Paper: real red, kraft, very vanilla
Accessories: CB embossing folder, big shot, may arts ribbin, glitter, 2 way glue pen, dimentionals, watercolor pencils, blender pen, prima flower, brad button

Featured Stamper is none other than...

NCSUNikki...over at Smells Like Homemade...I love Nikki...when we lived in the states we used to stamp together..I love me some Nikki! I miss you girl! Here is a link to her gorgeous card!

I really liked the polka dot motiff, so I picked a dotty paper as well...but instead of using a stamped image I used a sentiment instead...and since I have no polkadotted ribbon, I opted for a nice brown twill...Simple, but gorgeous! I love the rounded edges...too cool, and I like the fact that this isn;t too terribly girly!

Supplies:
Stamps: Best Yet by Stampin' Up!
Ink: Stazon Brown
Paper: Chocolate Chip by SU!, ocean tides by PTI, pantry DP by Basic Grey
Accessories: Ribbon, square punches, corner rounder, glue dots, dimentionals

Now, on a personal note, we have our very first visitor of the season...This is Katie...she's 18 and awesome! She was my flower girl at my wedding and I can not believe she is all grown up! This is a pic of her and my kids at Aptera, it's a Roman ruin in the Island of Crete...we went there today...it's simply gorgeous! Emelia has her nose plugged because she said it was stinky in there. They are standing inside a cistern...it's mostly dry, but the water is a bit stinky!!

Thanks for stopping by...please check out Nikki's Gallery here and play along!

Taylored Mad...

for plaid that is! I used the fabby Challenge sketch 113 over at Taylored Expressions to make my card today and I used the Mad for plaid challenge that Whimsie Doodles has issued over at Paper Craft Planet! This is also my second entry for thre Your Next Sstamp Challenge 16 to pop it up, cut it out. And last, but certainly now least, Treehouse stamps has a challenge to make a manly card...I think this fits the bill!

This is actually a large card...it measures 5.5 inches square, but I love it and it pretty much rocks! I added crystal effects to the legs and some of the arm rolls to add dimention and the appearance of luxury to the card. The ribbon treatment was for the fringe challenge over at the Spotted Canary Foru,...I simple added adhesive to the back of some chocolate twill tape and the cut small pieces of the same ribbon and adhered them to the long piece...I think it looks pretty cool!

I guess I should of added some sort of something where the gussetted buttons are, but I just realized I didn't just now looking at it...ohh well, such is life! LOL

For the floor I simply sponged it with a brown craft pad and then used a fine line pen and drew the lines with a straight edge. For the wall I sponged with a gable green craft pad and sponge and then added the wallpaper dots...I think it looks pretty cool!

Supplies:

Stamps: Have a Seat by Whimsie Doodles and {Father} by Little Paper Shop

Paper: White and Kraft by PTI, Junebug designer paper by Basic Grey

Ink: Stazon Black, craft Chocolate Chip, craft gable Green

Accessories: twill ribbon, coluzzle circle cutter, micro-fine pen

I hope she loves it...Please keep her and her husband in your prayers! Her name is Danielle!

I printed the image on PTI white and then colored it with watercolor pencils and my blender pens...can't leave home without them! I then re-preinted the image on computer paper and the added some DP over my image and ran it through the printer again...this time it prints on the DP and I am still able to paper piece with my Digi images!!!

Belated Mom...

I know it's not late yet, but it will be once it's sent! Especially since it has to go all the way to the states from Greece and it hasn't even made it into the hands of the person that asked me to make it for them! LOL

This card actually looks WAY better in real life...the flower color ACTUALLY matches the CS...but such is life, I'm out of daylight now so there will be no better pic today!

I made this card for a fun sketch challenge over at Stretch N Bubbles Sketch 5 challenge and one last entry for The Stamp Simply 137 challenge to use flowers...Found here!

This pic shows a closeup of the flower...I love how it shines with a hint of glitter...and really, the color matches soooo much better in real life!
I should also mention that on the sentiment on inside is from a set called {Bound by the Heart} and it reads...
"A child and a Mother never
truly part-Bound in the beating of each other's heart"
Which I also found fitting since this card is being sent to a mom who is faraway from her son!

Supplies:

Stamps: {Floral Frenzy} and {Bound By the Heart} both by Little Paper Shop

Paper: Baja Blue, raspberry fizz and white by PTI. DP by Basic Grey

Ink: black stazon

Accessories: watercolor pencils, blender pen, 2-way glue pen,

glitter, big shot, olivia CB alphabet, fancy border punch,

rhinestones, pink leather, black gingham ribbon

It's our 11 year anniversary today and after 11 wonderful years, this is the family we have created! With God's provisions, love and mercy we have grown together.
