Ornament Class Coming Soon!

I have been wanting to have a class and am feeling inspired to have an ornament class! I guess with the Holidays coming up and all I was really wanting to make something special! So I'm planning on making 3 ornaments and charging just $15. If you're in the area this is a class you don't want to miss! We'll be using the big shot machine and some yummy papers! There is limited space...so RSVP as soon as possible!

Mother-In-Laws book

So I made a little book for everyone to sign for my MIL's 60th birthday this last sunday and it was a HUGE hit...I also took a bunch of picture and created a DVD slide show...wich was perfect since the DVD holders I used had a pocket for it! And since I used 2 DVD holders I had 2 pockets...one for the invitaions I had made! I will show you the invites later...didn't take a picture, but it uses the same papers as the little book!

Little Paper Shop DT Challenge

So this months challenge for the Design Team was to create a card using at least 2 Little Paper Shop Stamp sets. SO I used Swirls and Snow Flakes...Love both of these sets and so I knew I had to combine them! Love how it turned out too, it's soooo shimmery and pretty! Gotta Love Glitter!

I also took the oppertunity to play along with SCS and their inspiration challenge held on Saturdays. Todays IC154 was inspired by some gorgeous felt scraves at The Felted Garden. The colors in the scarves below are what did it for me...although I did add some More mustard for the moon...or sun whichever pleases you! LOL

Here is what I did...

I started with a piece of whisper white cardstock that measures 5 x 3.75 and then I used a p ost it note and punched out a 1 3/8 circle punch and used the hole as my template. Using a sponge dauber I inked it up with more mustard classic ink and rubbed around the circle...leaving some white space for thr shadowing. I then created a hilly mask using a piece of computer paper and the circle cutout to cover my mustard sun/moon. I then used a sponge and some Baja Breeze ink and in circular motions covered the whole thing...when you remove the masked paper it looks like a snowy hill...add some glitter and you're done...gorgeousness in seconds!

Paper: Baja Breeze, retired DS paper, whisper white

Ink: More mustard, baja Breeze, stazon black

Accessories: post it nore, copy paper, glitter, 1 3/8 circle punch

Just a quick post today...Mela is Sleeping and when she gets up ww are going to spend some time with hubbies family!

The challenge for today was to make a card using acrylic stamps only! So I went for the Little Paper Shop stamp set called Little One...DH needed a new baby boy card for an ex-air force guy...so this was perfect!

The card was super easy to make...base is wild wasabi and then some certainly celery designer series paper inked in black. some barely banana cut to 3.5 x 3.5 and a 3x3 textured wasabi layer. the plane was stamped on DS paper...from a pack I can't remember...might of been a simply scrapin kit. I also stamped the plane on brely banana and cut it out to layer on the windows...added a sentimen, ribbon and eyelets and called it a day.

Christmas Goodies

So here are some projects I've been working on...I like them and I think they are super cute! I have been in kind of a funk...I don't know if it's because I'm starting to pack some of my things or if I have been selling some of the craft things I have in stock or what...the most probable cause would have to be the HUGE mess I have in my stamping areas...always a culprit! (is that even how you spell that??!!?!?!) Any who here are two things I was actually able to make this week!

Project Number one is a pretty cool and easy peasy project! I got this tray super cheap and then with just a quarter sheet of card stock cut out the Merry Christmas using the Olivia Cuttlebug Alphabet through my awesome well loved SU! Big Shot...my FAVE toy right now!!! Used my Crop-a-dial to punch some holes, threaded some ribbon and added a snowflake that I got last year...4 for a buck...too cool huh? gorgeous, quick and cheap...my favorite type of craft!

This is a close up of the snowflake and tray...doesn't it have pretty designs on it! Gotta love a good find! I must go back and get me some more!

These next projects are oldies but goodies. I Love making these clips...they always pack such a punch...plus I made 5 in about half an hours time...mostly because I was trying to get the rhinestones out of the brad section to make them more flat! All Supplies for this project are from SU! except for the binder clips themselves...the Clips measure 2 inches wide and are just perfect for to hold a 4x6 picture or thank you note to a hostess of a dinner party.

This is a close up to you can see the pretty stone in the center of the snowflake and the glitteriness...a girls gotta have some sparkle in her daily routine! On a side note...these were all make from two sheets of 6x6 paper with lots left over...can you say teacher's gifts?

I met Shelli!!!!

I know pretty exciting huh? She's my new BFF you know and when I move to Greece she's going to come and visit me and we'll be stamping into the wee hours of the night! LOL hahah that would be cool though!

Okay, so maybe I should of done my hair Saturday morning, but in my defense did get up at 4 in the morning and drove 3 hours to get to the Va. Beach regionals...and who knew Shelli would be there? Now for those of you wondering who Shelli is and why in the world I think this is such a big deal! Well she is the one and only founder and CEO of Stampin' Up! She started Stampin' Up! 20 years ago this year with her sister...and the company is still going strong!

This Saturday was the Va Beach Regional Seminar in Va beach and we got to enjoy hours and hours of stamping, presentations, inspiration and a yummy boxes lunch! I'll have to share more photos from the even later, but I wanted to share with you my excitement of the day!

Pacific Point and Glitter...

...Never looked so good!

Yes, that's my littlest baby...Isabella and she thinks those little bottles of reinkers are just too fun to hold...who knew whe could get them open! Not only did she get it open...she tried to drink it...I hope classic re-inkers aren't toxic! She also decided that she needed more sparkle in her life...so she dumped a little jar of Dazzling diamonds on herself! Agin...who knew she could open that tiny little jar! Can you see the glitter on her face and jammies?

I think this could be classified as a new techniwue...don't you?

No stamping for me yet today..I went to SU! Regionals yesterday and I have some fun photos to share with you all...but that will have to wait until tonight!
