Saturdays with Sweet N Sassy

And he loves you very much! That's what I always think when I start reading the sentiment on this stamp set...but I have small children and we watch Veggie Tales often... Sorry about that, hope I didn't get any songs stuck in anyones heads! LOL

Anywho, I digress, I think these little birds are the sweetest birds alive...errr digi's...you know what I mean! LOL I used my coluzzle to cut the circle around the birds and when I could go no further I used my paper snips...I like the end effects, those birds look too cute! I think they know the sentiment is true, or maybe they have the Veggie Tales theme song stuck in their heads too!

I added a bit of glitter to the leaves after I watercolored them using my watercolor pencils and blender pens and I sponged 2 different colors around the circle, I think it looks pretty neat! Did some paper piercing and added a gem to dot my eye and called it a day! What do you think?

Supplies:
Ink: craft turquoise, craft green galore
Paper: Kraft, white, Nook and Pantry by Basic Grey
Accessories: twill, staples, watercolor pencils, blender pens, paper piercing tool, sponge, gem, glitter

This card was made for the Isnpiration challenge236 on SCS my inspiration came from these perfume bottles found here!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stampin'

F4A16 Jelly Filled Doughnut!

Odd title I know! LOL but that is the name of todayc challenge on SCS! F4A15 is mine all mine! So I thought it would be a good idea to make a card like a jelly filled doughnut! what wouls that entail you may ask? Well a Jelly filled doughnut usually has a whole (you know where the jelly is inserted) and all the YUMMY stuff is on the inside...that is what I want your cards to be like today! I want a whole on the base of your card and then put all the pretties on the inside! Fun right! I know I'm super excited myself!

And now for some pics!

For the outside of the card I simply embossed it with a CB embossing folder and then cut out the window and added a rhinestone. Done. Easy peasy!

The inside was super easy too. I simply cut a piece of the marrakech DP to size and added my imade on a dimentional that I had colored with watercolor pencils and blender pens.

To jazz up the inside of the card just a tad I simply cut a strip of vanilla cardstock and punched a nice border(this is my fav right now! LOL) and I then added more DP and some gems...too fun! I think the sentiment on the jar speaks for itself and I really did not feel a need for a sentiment. The {Baked with Love} digi stamp by Sweet N Sassy stamps is awesome! This set is available as a digi or an actual stamp set...too cool!

Supplies:

Stamps: Baked with Love by Sweet N Sassy Stamps

Ink: none

Paper: Vanilla by PTI, Marrakech designer paper by basic Grey

Accessories:fancy scallop punch, rhinestones, watercolor pencils

Thanks for stopping by and I do hope you'll play along with us!

Red, yellow, blue...

Those are the colors in todays color challenge over at Little Paper Shop. I know you want to play along...one random participant will get a {Mermaid Jenna} Digi image...sooo cute!

So onto my card!
I love love love this little girl! She is soooo cute! I love her little bathingsuit and how she is sitting, you can prop her over a dock or at the beach like I have...endless possibilities! For this card I used some basic Grey DP for the base layer and then I used nesties lable 3 and my coluzzle oval cutter with the out of the box technique. for the coloring i did a whole lot of masking, but the end results were absolutely amazing! (In my opinion anyways!) I then embossed the panel and then punched a heart punch using the same DP. Added some designer paper and that is that! I hope you like it!

Supplies:
Ink: Stazon Black
Paper: bermuda bay textured cardstock, barely banana, PTI white, designer red by SU!
Accessories: sea shells, paper snips, rhinestones, swiss dots EF,
nestabilities Labels 3, heart punch, watercolor pencils, blender pens

This card is also for a couple of other challenges. First the SCS try a new technique challenge 276 to use your favorite technique and to use something personal from your life (fav colors, school colors, a pic, etc.)

PaperWorks Co.

Hello all! I have a fun fun announcement to make! I have been asked by the sweet Peggy over at PaperWorks Co. to be a part of their Design Team...and I accepted! Yeahhhh!!! Go check out their blog and store and see their amazing stamps and accessories!

Today is my debute day (you can check out the PWCO. Blog Here) I made a yummy card...but since I haven't gotten my Kit from Peggy yet, I made a card with no stamps! It was a hard challenge, but I think I managed to make a pretty decent card!

The paper can be found in the Store of PWCO and the trim is from a local fabric (well actually it's just a ribbon, buttons and trim store) store here in Crete. I added the seed beads and jewels to spice it up a bit! What do you think?!
Supplies:
Stamps: None :(
Ink: None :(
Paper: Kraft, baja blue, Nook and Pantry by Basic Grey
Accessories: fancy scallop punch, gingham ribbon, lace, seed beads, rhinestones, pearl head pin
