Sorry I've been so quiet this week...

but we've been getting ready for my in-laws to come for a visit and then I had some work I needed to get done for this weeknds Little Paper Shop release, so I haven't had much time to post anything! But to wet your appetite just a tad, I decided to share something with you that I have made a while back...it's a shadow box frame that went along with the 150 birth announcements I made!
That little baby is just too cute and made working on this project that much more fun! The card with the small picture is the actual birth announcement and then I added the large picture and an inside to the birth announcements for easy reference...I just adore how it turned out!!! Stamps are by Just Rite Stampers and this is the "Brayton" font, the little star image is by Stampin' Up! from the nursery necessities stamp set.

This one is a little close up of the bottom, I think the little brad with the feet print is just too cute! Love love love it!!!

This is a closeup of all the cool buttons, aren't they pretty awesome? I love them and they are acutally brads...pretty neat huh!

Thank you sooo much for stopping by! I will be updating the supplies list soon...as soon as the in-laws are gone, which unfortunately will be too soon!

Have a blessed day!

another 150 Birth Announcements

So I while back I was asked to make 150 bith announcements...and I just realized that I had not shared then with you! Shame on me!!! So here is a quick little post to share!

This is the front of the card. I love how the picture flap lifts up and reveals the information! I used the brayton set from Just Right Stampers for his name and then I used the little tiny (the set is only $5.95 and it comes with tweezers to help put them in place!) letters for the date and weight...I think it's super cute! Plus who doesn't love this paper!!!! I wish it hadn't retired!!!

This is the inside of the card. I love how they wanted the awesome bible verse! Every perfect gif is from above and every child is a perfect gift! Stamp a few little stars on the inside to match the outside and you're good to go!

Supplies:
Stamps: Nurcery Necessities by SU!, brayton alphabet and Small Letter set by Just Rite Stampers
Ink: Baja Breeze, Old olive
Paper: Baja Breeze, oldolive, kraft, very vanilla, SU! designer paper
Accessories: circle punch, star punch

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stampin' and May God bless you today!

150 Birth announcement and 30 Shower invites!

So a super sweet gal from our old church approached me about making her birth announcements and I lept at the chance! I had helped her make her weddng invites so I knew I had to make her announcements too! Then she asked for 150...at first I was a little scared, but then she knew exactly what she wanted and it was smooth sailing from there! I also happen to be close friends with her Photograper Dana over at Race Home Photography and worked closely with her to make sure the pictures were perfect! Dana even toned down the colors some so that they would match the pretty in pink colors of the cardstock I used...isn't she awesome! If you live in the area I highly recomend her for weddings, baby or any other occasion photo sessions!

So you wanna see the announcements? Okay okay here they are!

Isn't she just the cutest little baby? Her name is Brooklyn and the name of the font that I used is called Brook...how perfect is that!

Here is a close up of the birth announcements. I used the Cutie pie
designer paper to create the cards and no stamping...the shame! LOL
In this photo I wanted to show you how they opened. The card front itself is about 1 inch shorter on the front to allow the name and scripture to show through...isn't it too cute?

Bridal Shower Invites
My sister (whom I love dearly) is hosting a bridal shower fora friend of hers in May and asked me to make her some invites...the brides colors are black, white, and silver...sissy asked me to use some pink...and since pink is my fav color I was happy to oblidge! What do you think? I like the pretty in pink wiith the silver and white...very showerey (I don't think that's a real word! LOL)

Here is a close-up of the Bridal shower invites. I used the cuttlebug to emboss the backgrounds (thanks David for helping!) and I embossed the main images with silver embossing powder. I think they turned out very pretty if I do say so
myself!

Thanks for stopping by!
