I think it's super cute and will work for any occasion! I needed a birthday card and I just love this new image from the Fall RAM collection that I had to make a card using one of them...plus the sentiment really went well with a birthday card!

What do you think? I love the colors!!! I love watercoloring...the more I practice the better I feel about how I do...does that make sence? Was that even English? Anywho I ramble! Noa as for out of the box? Well I used the out of the box technique...with the squirels head and bushy tail! I love this technique! It looks pretty awesome and it's super simple fo do!
Supplies:
Stamp: Sugar and Spice fromt he RAM Fall Collection
Ink: Stazon Black
Paper: Prism White, Blueberry Core'dinations, Kraft
Accessories: white satin ribbon, croched flower from Creations by AR, flower border punch my MS, watercolor pencils and blender pens

A little Birdie...
I love this sketch, I like the two pieces going perpendicular to the main image panel! For my two pieces I have used the faux suade technique (when you rub a bone folder along one side of a piece of paper and the fibers start to separate, when you peel the two layers apart it looks like suade!) on the two blue strips...they look really cool in real life!
So I am seriously in LOVE with this image, it's a RAM image and it's called Birthday Parade The little owls are too stinkin cute I tell ya! I love them!
I colored my image with watercolor pencils and I think my coloring is getting better! ;) At least that's what I like to tell myself (still dreaming of copics...someday!) and cut it out using the nestabilities label 9 set...love this set of dies! To complete the card I thought some blong was in order...yes this was a boy card...and yes I did infact give it to a little boy last night for his 6th birthday...but a little bling never hurt anyone!
Supplies:
Stamps: Birthday Parade from the RAM collection for PWCO.
Ink: Stazon black
Paper: So saffron, vanilla, Prism blue and green. DP is jillibean soup, cream of mushroom
Accessories: watercolor pencils, blender pens, rhinestones, bigshot, nesties labels 9,
dimentionals, bone folder (for faux suade technique)
Thank you sooo much for stopping by!
Hugs and happy Stampin'

Seeing a spot...Spotlight
I love the spotlighting technique because when you have a large image that needs to be colored it can seem a little overwhelming, but if you choose a little section to color then it's not as daunting!
Here is a closer view, it doesn't look lined up from this angel but it really is! LOL Ohhh I was pretty excited, I colored the cupcake with my very own Copic markers...I only have 8 but it's a start! LOL
The inside reads "Fun, happy Birthday"
This card is also for a couple of challenges.

LPSC57...a sketch challenge!

It's actually a very fun and super easy sketch...I made my card in a matter of minutes, love how it turned out too!
I used the stamp set {ROCK STAR} by Little Paper Shop such a cute set and at 8bucks you really can't go wrong! I actually made this at my friend Nikki's house, I'm in the states visiting and had sooo much fun with her! So I was able to play with her Copics and some of her fun papers and ribbon. Alas, I can't tell you much about this card except that I love it and I used some SU colors like old olive and always artichoke and I am pretty sure the light green is from Marks Finest Papers. Ohh and I also used Black Pallete Noir ink to stamp the image and sentiment.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you go on over to the Little paper Shop Blog and play along...this weeks FREE SET is called {Floral Wishes} and one lucky participant will be randomly selected to win!
Have a great day my friends and Happy Stampin!

Let's Have a Tea Party...
Emelia ran all the pretty paper through my bigshot herselt! I then cut all the pieces at the perforated sections and then she helped me glue the pieces back on...only 3 and already paper piecing! The paper we used is the Garden Party stack from Die cuts with a view Stephanie Hester from "My Card Shack" was generous enough to send me an incredibly amazing package this week and this paper pack was one of the things in it...along with many other amazing things. Girl you are amazing! THANK YOU so much!!!
Here is the inside...Nikki had made an invitation with the tea pot last year and she had figured out all the proper placement...she was kind enough to e-mail me the template so all I had to do is insert my information! Thank you Nikki!!! You saved me a whole lot of trouble!
If you have this die and would like the word document for the wording please just e-mail me at mabieme1999@yahoo.com with "tea pot template" as the subject.
Supplies:
Stamps: None, the you're invited is computer generated
Ink: none
Paper: Garden party DP by Die Cuts with a view, rose red, green galore, very vanilla
Accessories: Basic grey buttons, linnen thread, glue dots, rode red ribbon, word window punch, heart punch, big shot, teapot die

I made some stuff!!!!
We went to a birthday party yesterday (little boy turning 1) and I already had a little shirt for him, but I wanted to add a little something to it. Andrew was napping and so were the kids, so I made a star book (Click here for Instructions, they were already made, so why re-invent the wheel with a tutorial?) They are very impressive and super cute! I also used my star punch and scor-pal to make the awesome 3-D stars for the cover. Colored the images with an inkpad and blender pen...gotta love me some blender pens!
And here is a picture of the book all opened up...pretty cool huh! One of my FAV albums to make...maybe I should try a mini one! I bet that would be super cute!!!
Made a super cute card to go with the book...love how it turned out and I used up a bunch of textured cardstock that has just been sitting there since it retired last year! I'm so bad at hoarding!!! The eyelets were the perfect touch and didn't make the card too bulky...and sinc eI didn't have the ink pads or refills anympre the always artichoke did the trick for the grass...not to bad!!!
