LPS January Sneak Peek 3

Unfortunately this is my last sneak peek for the month...boo hooo! I just love these stamps, I'm sad to not have any more new ones to show! (Although come back tomorrow and I'll have the DT challenge posted for ya with one of the new just released sets!) Again all sets are available for purchase at the Little Paper Shop tomorrow!

This set is called {Tea Time} and the images are super sweet and I think it is totally ingenious of Julia to design the sentiments the way she did...makes this set that much more versatile! You go girl! Anywho, you wanna see my card? okay okay, here it is!
This actually turned out to be my most favorite card! I lvoe the simpleness of the layout and I love the super cute image and how cheap it will be to mail! LOL I added more grass as I went...to make the whole thing more fluid and I simply colored the whole thing with water color pencils and went over them with a blender pen...this is a standard size card!
Supplies:
Stamps: Tea Time by Little Paper Shop
Ink: Stazon Black
Paper: Kraft, very vanilla, shimmery white
Accessories: water color crayons, blender pens
I hope you have enjoyed the sneak peeks! Don't forget to check out the other DT members blogs to see what they have created! Little Paper Shop Blog

LPS January Sneak Peek 2

For todays sneak peek I thought I would show you this super cute doggy card! I know I just love doggies! This brand new set is called {Puppy Love} and it is just AWESOME! Little Paper Shop has managed to come out with yet another great release! It has a couple doggie images and some super cute sayings...I just know you're going to LOVE it!
I wanted to do some paper piecing for this set...the heart was just screaming to me! My friend Wendy came over to stamp with me the other day and she was kind enough to give me some super yummy Basic Grey designer paper and I ceased the monent and went for it! Isn't his little heart just too cute?
Now let me explain the reason behind the 2 giant eyelets! LOL I was just going to use one and silly me went ahead and added it without measuring the card for placement...well it was WAY too high and it looked plain silly if I had added it to the card like that...so I went ahead and added another eyelet and I actually like how it looks!
Again, MOST of my stuff is packed away and I am say to say that I am down to bare masics for my stamping right now! BOOO HOOO, but hopefully you have enjoyed my cards so car!
Supplies:
Stamps: Puppy Love by Little Paper Shop
Ink: Stazon brown
Paper: Certainly celery, pink pirouette, confetti white, Basic Grey designer paper
Accessories: crop-a-dial, jumbo eyelets, organdy ribbon, blender pen
Thanks for stopping by!

LPS January Sneak Peek 1

Hello ladies ad gents! It's that time again...Little Paper Shop is going to be releasing 3 BRAND NEW sets on the 15th and I get to start showing them to you today! Aren't you so very excited!!! I know I am! I lvoe these new little guys and I am soooo excited to share with you what I have created so far! The fisrt set I get to show you is called {Make Your Own Mug} and it's created by a BRAND NEW illustrator! You may already know who she is as she has been a party of the Little Paper Shop Design Team for some time now, bit has finally taken the jump to Illustrater and boy am I glad she did! Who is she? Her name is Elyssa and her blog is called Confessions of a Teenage Scrapper trust me you will want her set! This girl came out with a bang!!!

For my first project I decided to create a box for some coffee, my sisster-in-law owns a coffee shop and she sells ...what...COFFEE and I thought this little box would be perfect for her to put a little bag of grounds in there to sell... I tink she will like it! The box measures 4x4 and I simply cut my designer paper slightly smaller that than each side and adhered it. I then stamped the coffee gound images using brown stazon ink directly on the designer paper. for the images I stamped them on whisper white paper, colored them with water color pencils and then used blender pens to smooth it all together and cut them out!

To get that nice little rectangle in the middle I actually used a rectangle nestabilties die and an exacto knife. I tried to hold the die as still as possible, but it slipped a little hints the placement of the mug and beans...LOL

Once the rectanle was cut I used some sticky trip and a small piece of acetate and adhered it to the inside...VOILA perfect box with a window! LOVE IT!!! I guess I sould of placed the die on the inside and then ran it through the machine, but hey I like to do things the hard way...LOL

And here is a view from the top so you can see my GORGEOUS ribbon skills LOL

Supplies:
Stamps: Make You're Own Mug by Little Paper shop (Available Jan 15th)
Ink: Stazon brown
Paper: Designer papre by cosmo cricket
Accessories: Crop-a-dial, jumbo eyelets, chocolate satin ribbon, rectangle nestabilities, craft knife, acetate, sticky strip, water color pencils, blender pens
Don't forget to check out what the other ladies on the DT did! YOu can start at the Little Paper Shop Blog

Thanks for stopping by!
May God Bless you today and always,

Easy peasy right? That's what I thought too! Here is my card to get you going!

The challenge over at the Little Paper SHop blog was to make a tent topper card...so I got a little carried away and made 2! This one is actually a mini tent topper, it only stands about 4 inches high and is 3 inches wide...Cute huh? I lvoe this paper, I love this dog! I lvoe this punch...Okay I think I'm giddy! This set is called {Puppy Love} and will be released by Little Paper Shop on this coming wednesday the 15th of January...isn't it just darling? You can actually pre-order this punch as part of the Love you much bundle that comes with the punch, paper, and a stamp set it's a great deal at 20% off intil the 31st of January...trust me you will want this stamp set and the punch...lovin the paper too!

Isn't the butterfly just too cute? I made a imple butterfly from just one little heart folded in halfand I cut some paper and used them as antena...love it!!!

Last but not least is my one and only accessory...red romance glitter a half punce jar for only $4.95, I have had my jar forever! Love it and it's just sooo sparkly! I used it on his colar and a little bit on the hearts too!

It's Moving day!!!!

The movers are going to be here soon and I am totally NOT ready! I still have a few things I would like to do but here I sit! LOL I just wanted to share with you some of the last minute things I make myself do when I should be packing! LOL
This past summer we went on a SUPER AWESOME vacation to Rhodanthe in North Caroline with hubbies family and some close friends of ours, I had been meaning to make everyone a CD of pictures from the week... as I took over 400 pictures! Anywho I finally got around to it because I knew the movers were coming and I needed to pack my memory card to CD burning machine and I wouldn't see it for a couple of months! I know I'm crazy! LOL So here are a couple of the CD holders...I made 4, one for us and one for each of the families that came with us!

And here is a close up of the inside. I love these things! I got these CD holders at Uline and have shared them with my friends...now I'm almost out and need to place an oder just for myself! LOL OKay maybe I'll share! Just so you know I'm addicted to bulk buys! I don't know why...I just have issues I guess!
I made mine into a slideshow that I can plpay directly on the TV...the only things is that I don't have an MP3 player and so every slideshow I make has the same boring elevator music...I think I might have to invest in an iPod if MP# player soon! LOL
Thanks for stopping by!
May God bless you today and always
Happy Stampin'
Silvia
P.S. Please pray for us!!! We are going to be moving in with my parents for th next 2 months and then we will be on our way to Greece! The kids are pretty used to a regular schedule and I am affraid this is going to make them crazy! I know they will do fine in the end, but I am just asking for prayers for a smooth transition! Thank you so much!

Journals

I made my nieces some journals for Christmas and I think they turned out pretty cute! I used some chipboard and cut it to size...they both measure 5x6. For the inside pages I simply used some copy paper from our printer and cut it to size...I paired it with a box on jumbo crayons and I think it made a super cute gift! They loved it and wanted to get drawing right away!
This one if for Olivia...hahaha and I used Groovey Guava designer paper on it (I don'[t think she's going to mind that it's last years In-Colors! LOL) and I used chocolate chip, very vanilla and my last tiny bit of Grovey guava cardstock. I used my scallop boarder punch and the Bind-it-all to hold it all together, a coat of modge podge and it was done...super cute, super fun anf she loved it! What more can you ask for?
This next one is for...you guessed it...Courtney! For her book I used a retired DSPaper that for the life of me I can not remember the name of! But I also used chocolate chip on hers...some modge podge and the BIA and that was about it.

Supplies:
Stamps: None
Ink: none
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Groovey Guava, Very Vanilla, Groovey Guava DS paper and an unknown DS paper
Accessories: scallop boarder punch, Bind it all, Cuttlebug Olivia Alphabet, Big Shot

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you try making a journal sometime... they are super fun and super simple.

I did it!!! I stamped something!!!

I have been working on these cute little tins for my nieces and thought I would show them to you today! I have been super busy lately...I'm sure most of you have with the holidays and extra kids at home and all, but I have also been packing...we're movig to Greece in a couple of moths and I am super excited...the mover come on Monday and then I move in with my paresn't...should be interesting...until we move in March! But I did get something done that I want to show you! I will have even more tomorrow...crazy I know...me showing you something 2 days in a row after being MIA for so long!
Anywho, you wanna see what I made? Of course you do!!!

This actually went along with todays LSC201 challenge over at www.splitcoaststampers.com to use some of your favorite things...I almost took it literally and used a stamp set by My Favorite Things and used the Isabelle Paper Doll set...I just LOVE this set... the girl is just too cute and the other images are soooo much fun to color!!! I stamped the girls with stazon black ink and colored them with water color pencils and then used a blender pen to get them nice and smooth...I then cut out the pretty papers and letters (using the Olivia Alphabet from Cuttlebug with my Big Shot machine) and added 2 coats of Modge Podge over everything to make sure it stuck super well...the girls are only almost 4 and 5...so they needed to be sturty and not too many layers or embelishments.I also used some old retire SU! papers...come of my faves that I have been hoarding...New Year New me...no more Hoarding! Here is the inside, you can see that I cut out all the little pieces after I colored them and then added Untra Thick embossing enamel to the front and back of each piece, be sure to just put one coat as the UTEE will start to crack if too many coats are added! I then attached a little piece of magnet to the back of each (I used a piece from a self adhesive buisness card I had laying around) and Voila!
Here is a look at the inside. I used more pretty paper on the left and adhered the girl and the dresser right to the paper with another coat of Modge Podge. Stamped the shoes and hangers directly on the "wall" and "floor" of the room. Thats about it! I kow my nieces will love playing with it as much as I have enjoyed making it!

Supplies:

Stamps: Fashion Statements (SU!) Isabelle Paperdoll (My Favorite Things)

Ink: Stazon Back

Paper: Whisper white, retired SU! designer papers, pretty in pink, pumpkin pie and chocolate chip

Accessories: Big Shot, cuttlebug alpha, modge podge, scallop boarder punch, water color pencils, blender pen

Thanks for stopping by!

May God bless you today and always!

Happy New Year!

Silvia
