Todays LSC251 challenge on SCS was to make something with Silver and Gold...I went with Glitter Ball ornaments...they look gorgeous and have silver caps at the top...I hope you like them!
This is the one I entered into the LSC challenge because it had the monst "gold" I actually used summer sun reinker to make this one and at first I was a bit skeptical (my daughter picked the color) but I actually love how it turned out! The girl has good taste!
Here is a view of all the ornaments...the purple one is for my daughter...she picked the color and the snowflake...cute...just like her!

A shade of blue, I think this is a reiner from last years in colors...bayou blue!

Love how this red one turned out...real red...about 25 drops, swirl and add glitter. easy peasy!
I think this is one of my favorite...tempting turquoise!

Green Galore also turned out very festive...so festive that I made 2!

Pendant Necklace Eyelet Clasp know how!

Hey there,
I just wanted to post some pictures of the most recent pendant necklace...well most recent kinda, I'm working on one right now! Anywho I had some people ask me how I did the clasp with eyelets so I wanted to share with you all! I love making these things!!!

But don't forget about my BLOG CANDY! I'm giving away a pack of COPIC markers! you know you want some!!!!!

Now for the pics!
Here is a pic of what you need...your washer pendant...instructions can be found here.... at the origional SCS Challenge.
YOu will need:
*Completed Washer
*Large eyelets
*leather cording or ribbon
* Copr-a-dial
* Clasps

YOu will want to slide the eyelet in with the back first, then slide on the clasp.
Now loop the ribbon and slide it through the eyelet again.
Now take your crop-a-dial and flip it to the flat part! For the squeezing I didn't take a picture, but you want to do it on the side of the eyelet...not top to bottom like you would if you were closing it on paper. Make sence?

And this is what it looks like when you are finished! I know you can do it too! Please let me know if you have any questions!
I will be sharing more necklaces soon!
Happy Stampin and don't forget about the COPIC BLOG CANDY HERE!!!
Hugs,
Silvia

Hey all, don't forget to check out my COPIC SKETCH blog candy going on now until Christmas DAY!!!

This is a post for this weeks and last weeks Technique Lovers Challenges. This weeks TLC 250 was to make a shipping tag box...super cute! And last weeks TLC249 was to make a necklace out of metal washers...I actually made 4 but already gave away 2 and one is not complete yet. Anywho, here are pics! Here is a little ensamble...I wish I had made the little packaging out of the same paper I made the necklace, but unfortunately it was just a scrap! Cute non the less and I know the recipient will love it!

Just a little close up of the box...I loved how super simple it was...I dodn't have tags so I just cut my papers as per the measurements and went with it...didn't cut the corners because I liked the look of the square ends.

Here is the necklace I made. I actually used some eyelets to attach the leather. turned out cute if I do say so myself! I hope my friend likes it!

And this is a close up of the card...super simple, yet still ohhh so pretty!

Recycled Little Paper Shop a Sketch challenge {11-30-09}

Little Paper Shop Monday is upon us and Little Paper Shop has a sweet little card set for you! This weeks LPSC40 challenge is to make a card using a previous sketch challenge to create a holiday themed card. I choose to go with one of Cindy's sketches because I think it's super cute! So I made a little gift set! It's a Thankful card set...and since Thanksgiving was just this last week I thought it was appropriate! I know you want to play along! This weeks FAB prize is the {I Heart} set...you sooo need this in your collection!
Here is my little card portfolio...super easy to make! This little card set is going out as a Thanksgiving day gift to my sons teacher...I was slacking a little before Thanksgiving! Been a little busy! I love the tree from the {Chirp} set and the sentiment is from the {Topiary} set.

This little card portfolio is super easy to make! All you do is take a pice of 8.5 x 11 piece of cardstock and fold it in half at the 5.5 inch mark. Rotate your paper around and score again at the 2.5 inch mark. Now fold the portfolio at the 5.5 inch side and cut from the score mark to the end to make the nice even V shape in the middle. Clear as mud right? open back up and fold flaps up, use your crop-a-dial to punch holes and set the eyelets...voila, card portfolio complete!

And here is a pic of the 4 cards. They are simple, but still cute! You can hardly see the versamark trees but they are there!

Supplies:
Stamps:{Chirp} and {Topiary} by Little Paper Shop
Ink:versamark, stazon black, ruby red
Paper:ruby red, basic grey indian summer, very vanilla
Accessories: Crop-a-dial, eyelets, ribbon, scor-tape, prima flowers, buttons

If you need more inspiration with this sketch please check out LPSC25 blog post when the sketch was origionally placed. Lots of gorgeousness there!

Thank you sooo much for stopping by! Have a blessed day!

Emelia's Tea Party Favors

My sweet baby girl had a tea party this weekend...her 4th birthday was yesterday! And she helped me make the invitations (Can be seen here) and she also helped me make the party favors...love that girl...we had sooo much fun!
Doesn't she just look gorgeous! I might be a little partial, but I think she's stunning! LOL Love how she'ss pose for me!

Yes she's in her underoos! I couldn't get her to get dressed that morning! Sheesh! But isn't she handling that big shot like a master!!! When we were working she kept telling me her muscles were getting bigger...and when we were done she started flexing and kissing her arms! HA!!!

Each of the favors had a tea cup and saucer, tea bag of assorted decaf tea, candy necklace, a little ring and earing stickers. The boys had chocolate coins and boyish stickers in theirs. I think the favors turned out cute and I already had a boy tell me he used his tea cup! YEAHHH!!!

Supplies:

Stamps: None

Ink: none

Paper: Garden party by DCWV

Accessories: Big shot, tea pot die, ribbon, Olivia Cuttlebug alphabet

WT246- A Sweet Challenge

Hey there my lovely friends! First and foremost I would like to wish everyone a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving! I thank the forefathers of America for their vision for a freedom of religion! A freedom to choose, a freedom to speak what you want! I thank them for going through with their vision no matter how arduous the journey may be! I am thankful to be able to celebrate this Thanksgiving and Lord willing many more to come!

Now onto my sweet challenge! Todays Splitcoaststampers ways to challenge 246 was to use sweets in your project! I have been wanting to try a candy bar ribbon slide for quite some time (even confiscated a candy bar from the kids trick or treating basket and stashed it!) and now I had the chance to do it...I think it turned out super cute and I'm going to give it to one of the guys at the gate of the base...might make a few more, they were super fast and are super cute and make a nice little gift for the guys and gals here that help make this place safe for us all!
And here is my project! Super fabby fab!
Really it took me less than 15 minutes to make this lovely little boy! Hmmm maybe I'll make a little tutorial for these little guys! With different measurements for different candy bars! LOL I think I'm getting ambitious! I already have another tutorial I'm working on, so please be on the lookout for that! P.S. The tag reads Holiday Blessings.
Here is the ribbon slide open.

I think it turned out super cute. I lvoe the colors and those felt snowflakes just add such a nice touch!

Not Stamped, but still yummy!

Today, for the very first time in my entire life, I made mashed potatoes...you know the kind NOT out of the box...and boy were they yummy!!! Whimsied Monday WSC29...

NOT A CARD!!! Todays Whimsy Stamps Blog challenge is to create something other than a card...I opted for an ornament...which I've been in the mood to make! So there you have it! LOL I hope you like it!

This little guy was super hard to take a pic of! I finally decided to just lay it flat on my counter and take a picture...Not the best, but not the worst. I totally need an OTT light!
Here is a little side view of it. I used the same DP that I used for the "wallpaper" and lined the side of the tin...looks sooo awesome, if I do say so myself! I stamped {Pajama Time Emma} on very vanilla using stazon black and then on Eskimo Kisses paper pad by Basic Grey/ cut it out and colored the sweet girl using water color pencils and a blender pen. I used a small piece of lace under the tree to look like a tree skirt. The tree itself was free cut and then embossed using the Swirls cuttlebug embossing folder. I love that folder, it was my first! I then added some pearls and crystals for the ornament and an eyelet for the topper.

The tree is up on dimentionals and {Pajama Time Emma} is up on 8 dimentionals stacked on top of each other for hight. The sentiment is {Katie Christmas} by Little Paper Shop.

Supplies:

Stamps: {Pajama Time Emma} by Whimsy stamps, sentiment {Katie Caroler} by Little Paper Shop

Ink: Stazon black

Paper: very vanilla, Desiger paper is Eskimo Kisses by Basic Grey

Accessories: crystals and pearls, star eyelets, glue dots, dimentionals, big shot, embossing folder, ribbon, crop-a-dial

I hope you play along with the WSC29 Challenge over at the Whimsy Stamps Blog...create something 3-D, you know you want to!

This project is also for the following challenges:

*Cute Daisy May- Texture

*Poly Craft- No Card Allowed

*Creative Inspirations- The Emme is my very first Whimsy image...LOVE IT!!!

*Charisman Cards- Merry and Bright...not a card, but def. merry and bright!

*Stampin B's - anything but a card

*Paper Cutz- stamped image

* Secret Crafter- Four Seasons (winter)

*Corrosive- Emboss it (my tree is embossed)

Have a wonderful day!
