LPSC53, a sketch for you and me!

Hello my stampy friends! Today we are having a fun fun challenge at the Little Paper Shop Blog! It's a sketch challenge! But before we get to that I wanted to share with you the newest FREE DIGI IMAGE that is available at the LPS NIG goup...if you haven't joined you really must...lots of fun chatter, challenges, prizes and freebies! Check us out here! Isn't this digi super cute?! I love it!!!

And here is my card for today's challenge...I simply printed the image on PTI white cardstock and then printed it again on designer paper and cut it out. I love paper piecing and it's sooo fun and easy with digi images!

And this is the awesome sketch provided by the amazing Allison...Thanks allison for everything you do for LPS!

Embossed Whimsy

Post Hijacking...

This picture is for a photo challenge 54 on SCS to use black and white setting on your camer...this is from a friends wedding I went to yesterday...Love this pic of the bride and groom...The wedding was sooooo much fun!

Today is my very first post with the wonderfully awesome Whimsy Stamps Challenge DT...I am soooo honored to be a part of this wonderful team...did you know that we have a page on SNR? Come check us out there...We have chats and fun stuff going on!



This weeks challenge is to make a card with embossing...any kind of embossing. Dry embossing, regular embossing, embossing with your Scor-Pal...anything goes...you don't have to use Whimsy Stamps to play along, we would love to see them if you have them but they are not required...Come come and play along!

For my card I used the Bride and groom digi image from Whimsy Stamps. I printed it a bit larger than the file comes and then cut it out using my nestabilities die, cut and smbbossed it. I also used a stampin up floral ave. embossing folder for the pretty flowers and then some pearls from my pretties kit. The sentiment is from Little Paper Shop...it's from a set called {Topiary} .

I hope you like my simple card. I can't wait to show you what other awesome images Whimsy Stamps has...but if you can't wait for my samples please check them out at their site here! ohh and yes this card went to the bride and grrom at the top of my post!

The inside of my card reads... " May this day you share be filled with love and laughter. May all th days ahead be happy ever after!" I wish I could take credit for this super cute inside, but I can't and I really don't remember who wrote it...bummer!

Boat Purse bag FS132

Odd title I know, but I am using a template from my friend Mel's Blog and I am also using the Featured Stamp challenge 132.

This little box actually holds dog treats for a friend down the street...I love how it turned out and have printed the template in many sizes and colors...even come large ones for my dear daughters who wanted purses! AYou can fin the template in this post by Mel She has many amazing templates!!!

This little box has many challenges in it actually! It also used the spotlighting technique challenge on Little Paper Shop blog and it's a sneak peak of the about to be released Digi images...6 in all (Enter for your chance to win at the Little Paper Shop blog)

Inspiration Challenge 193

Todays inspitation challege193 on SCS was to go to a pretty cool site! The site is called The Curiosity Shoppe. I immediately knew what I was going to use as my inspiration when I got there! Wanna see?
Isn't it cute? I liked all the houses lined up in a row and I liked all the pink too...hmmm I think I rather like pink...such a fun girly color!!! LOL

I wanted mine to be square, but it didn't end up that ay! Boo hiss...ohh well I still like it lots though! It measures 6x5...so it's a bigger than normal card....So I'll probably have to make my own envelope!!


I used a digi image from Little Paper Shop that I just absolutely adore called Jena Book. School is going to start up here in about a month and my little man is tarting Kindergarten...So i better get started! LOL


I used some left over purely pomegranate textured cardstock and some soft sky textured cardstock...printed all these gorgeous girl up on some whisper white cardstock and the sentiment and called it a day!

Stamps: none...gasp! Digi image from Little Paper Shop called Jenna Book
Ink: none...ackkkk gasp again!
Paper: purely pomegranate, soft sky, whisper white
Accessories: scalloped border punch, organdy ribbon, dimentionals
