I've been inspired...

by todays inspiration challenge 192 on splitcoaststampers. Today we were inspired by some gorgeous vases at Bellacor Vases the one I loved is this pretty one with blues and greens and yellow it has a pretty flower on it too...so nice!

This is the vase I was inspired by...I also like the hint of red and yellow on there...so for my card I went a little more green with hints of yellow.

For my card I choose to use Wednesdays sketch 240 challenge I also went more unconventional and stamped an image on some designer paper...I think it looks pretty cool. Added a pretty flower and some whinestones...I love the bling!!!

The embossing created a pattern just like in the vase...I like it, I really like it! (in my best black and white movie, heroin voice)

Supplies:
Stamps: Baroque Motifs by Stampin' Up
Paper: sage shadow, rose red, so saffron, close to cocoa
Ink: stazon black, sae shadow
Accessories: jumbo eyelets, crystals, crop-a-dial, CB embossing folder, big shot, prima flower

Anywho, thanks for stopping by!

May you be blessed today!

Same Same Friday!

Here we are again...for todays same same challenge I chose some interesting color combos...but Hey I like them!

Your challege is to make 2 cards using the same stamps and the same layout (you can use mine or your own) but DIFFERENT colors...everything else should be the same...the embelishments don't have to be exact, as long as there are embelishments in the same positions!

I was going for a more masculine look for this card... I need to send my cousin a birthday card today and so why not use it for my challenge! He's a teen boy so I didn't want a lot of fluff, but still a nice card. I went very bare bones, but needed some ribbon in there, I don't think it's too feminine, do you?

Supplies:

Stamps: Older and wise, background basic

paper: wild wasabi, barely banana, tempting turquoise

ink: barely banana, tempting turquoise, summer sun, wild wasabi, stazon black

accessories: mono milti, glitter, wild wasabi stripped ribbon, ticket corner punch, cutter kit

For my second card I went a little more non-traditional again, but more girly. I really like these colors together, but I think there needs to be another layer under the orange...a soft sky layer maybe, but since I didn't add it to the fisrt, I could add it to this one!

The ribbon is a little too high and the color isn't just right, but I think it works! I do love how pronounced the star are in the background panel though...and there could be more pink on the candles, but live and learn right?

Supplies:

Stamps: older and wider, background basics

ink: pink passion, soft sky, only orange, summer sun, stazon black

paper: soft sky, only orange, pink passion, soft sky, whisper white

accessories: pomegranate double stitched ribbon, ticket corner punch, mono multi, glitter

Thanks for stopping by! I can't wai to see your creations...if you upload them to you blog or scs gallery don't forget to stop by and leave me a comment so that I can check them out too! Please use Key word SSMS03
