YNS is going DOTTY!!!

With their challenge that is! It's time for Your Next Stamp's next byweekly challenge...todays challenge 15 is...yup, you guessed it...dots! I deceided to use severals kinds of dots. Dotted paper, white gel pen dots and big giant yellow dots...there are more, but they're hiding :)

I really love how this card turned out! I had origionally stamped the image and was going to leave the background white, but then I got a bee in my bonnet and decided that I wanted to bust out my craft ink pads and a sponge and go to town! So I made some masks (in honor of the Post-it Notes 30th Birthday) and made some masks for Fhionna and the clouds and then sponged using my craft ink...I love the way this looks, so bright and line free! Since I had already adhered it to the orange CS I went ahead and just pulled the sponge just to the edge and then let it be...SOOO cool I think!
I don't ususally use these bright colors, but i think they look FABBY...so bright and cheery! Love it!
Supplies:
Ink: stazon black, craft tempting turquoise
Paper: PTI white, Karen Frost DP, only orange by SU!
Accessories: Marvy scallop punch, white gel pen, sponge, 1 inch circle punch, watercolor
pencils and blender pens
Thank you sooo much for stopping by and I hope you play along with the
This is aslo for the Friday Sketchers 99 challenge!

LPSC65 Lovely bananas

Hey hey hey! We have a lovely color challenge for you today at the Little Paper Shop blog! It's nice and springy!

Here is my card! I started by making a straight line on a piece of computer paper and then punching out 3 circles with the 1 inch circle punch...equally spaced. I then sponged the yellow using my craft inks and a sponge moving my template down and repeating 3 times.

Once the ink was dry I placed the sponge on top of the first row and then stamped the small rose from the {Rose} stamp set in different directions. did it on all except the last two circles where I stamped the sentiment...what do you think?

Stamps: {Rose} by Little Paper Shop

Ink: stazon black

Paper: PTI white, orchid opulance by SU!

Anniversary and Inspiration!

It's our 11 year anniversary today and after 11 wonderful years, this is the family we have created! With God's provisions, love and mercy we have grown together. I am not the same person I was then at 19, I would hope I have grown and matured a lot since then and really do cherish this family God has given me! Thank you Lord Jesus for loving me enough to give me such a wonderful, loving husband! For this I am truly thankful!

This is one of my FAV wedding pics! It was taken at the church grounds where we got married, Cala Lillies are my FAV flowers!!

We met at Ruby Tuesday's, I was his waitress, so we thought it fitting to go have pics taken there, and I am sooo glad we did!

And now onto some crafting!

This is the card I made him, because after 11 years, his love still lifts me up! He is an amazing husband, incredible father and a great friend! I really couldn't ask for much more!
Supplies:
Stamps: {I Heart} By Little Paper Shop
Ink: Stazon black
Paper: Kraft and white from PTI, DP from Basic Grey

WOW, two today! Look out world, and a prayer request!!

Okay I know I'm a little out of my norm by making two cards in one day...but I wanted to stamp and the Ways to Use it challenge wasn't posted yet (since I'm 7 hours ahead of east coast time).
-So I did a sketch challenge, then the kids were napping and the Ways to use it 267 challenge on SCS was posted, so I stamped!
-Plus, I was over at MelStampz and she has some super fun FREE images that were "sew" cute that I just HAD to make a card with them! See THIS post!
-And last but certainly NOT least, there was an inspiration challenge #46 over at Tree House Stamps that was super inspirational!

Here is my card! What do you think? I love the colors and how this image was already pre-cool for me to make something with...for the background I used some scraps of DP and adhered them to white and then ran them through the printer again with another FREE background paper from Mels blog, then I stitched it with my Janome Sew mini machine...I love that thing! Colored it with my watercolor crayons and then added a sentiment.

This is going to a friend of mine that was just diagnosed with a brain tumor, it's a pretty large one and one that is not easily treated, so I just ask that you keep her in your prayers, her name is Danielle, she's only 37 and I just pray that even if I am so far away I can be there for her in spirit and prayer! This will be a journey for her and her husband...I pray for them!

Thanks again for looking! I appreciate your visits and your comments, you truly fuel my creativity!

Hugs and Happy Stampin'

Puppy Love, BABY!!!

I made this card for a friend of mine that is about to have a ababy boy...and for the fun sketch challenge found here at Taylored Expressions
I really love how this card turned out...I love the colors and the polkadots...too fun! My fav thing about this card is how the little heart just slightly peeks over the edge of the orange...too cute! It's a simple card to make, but the little extra details really add up...I love the sponging around the dog and the stitching really set it off!
Supplies:
Ink: Stazon black, baja breeze
Papers: PTI white, Baja Breeze, only orange and DP by SU!
Accessories: round tab punch, gingham ribbon, fine tip pen, coluzzle cutting system, heart punch, star punch, sponge, blender pens
This card was made for the sketch challenge #109 over at Taylored Expressions

Feelin' SCS CAS-N-Sketchy

I was browsing the challenges on SCS and I really loved todays sketch 275 and I also liked Mondays CAS challenge...to use only a sentiment stamp...so I combined the two challenges and this is what I came up with!
The paper I used is called "The Whimsy Stack" by DCWV. I loved the colors in the papers and the swirl...not to mention that it was already glittery and shimmery...BONUS! So once I cut my pieces all I did was attach. I cut out a scallop rectangle with my large rectangle nestabilities and then a simple textured white piece of bazzil paper. Add some delicious flowers and a designer brad and dimentionals...Voila, your card is complete!
Supplies:
Ink: stazon black
Paper: Green galore, tangerine tango, DCWV whimsy stack, white from bazzil
Accessories: brad by DCWV, big shot, nestabilities, prima flowers, crop-a-dial

...the stamp sets I used is Garden Greetings and I think the flowers in this set are absolutely stunning! I used some Lemonde DP by Basic Grey and a very simple layout to showcase the sheer beauty of this stamp! I paper pieced it...and did some watercoloring using colored pencils and my blender pens.

Here is a close-up so you can see the dimention...I love love love how this card came out and my Mom is goignt o absolutely LOVE it...her birthday is coming up at the end of the month and I think she will thuroughly enjoy this card...she a major flower person and tulips just happen to be one of her FAV flowers...YEAHHH!!! So can you see it? Do you see the dimention? I stamped thr tupil on DP and then I stamped it again and only cut out certain sections and then proped them up on dimentions...for the stem I actually colored the stem and one leaf...then paper pieced one flat and one on dimentionals as well...I loveeeee it!
