PaperWorks Co. Sketch challenge

Isn't the sketch soooo much fun this week?! I really love it! It's a great way to use up some scraps or have fun with different embossing foldcers! I love this little hippo with her little friend on her back...just too cute! I used some yummy DP, it's called Simple Pleasures from Three Bugs in a Rug and I love it!

For the swirls and the heart I used an adhesive transfer from Doodlebugs called "Stick With it" and I love these transfer sheets...just add glitter! I also used three different embossing folders. I used Bloom Dots, Spots and Dots, and Swiss Dots. The image I used is from the Safari friends collection and it's called Harriet the Hippo. If you haven't already, you need to check out this collection, the animals are adorable!

The rest was easy peasy...simply ink around the edges and water color your image and you are good to go! I do hope you'll play along with the sketch challenmge this week!

Supplies:

Stamps: Harriet Hippo from the Safari friends collection by PWCO

Ink: stazon black, rose red

Paper:bed of roses by Three bugs in a rug, white

Accessories: watercolor pencils, blender pens, big shot, swiss dots, bloom dots and spots and dots embossing folders, sponge, colluzle, stick with it adhesive transfer, glitter

Free for Inspiration

And a bunch of others...this is a card for 4 different challenges. The Free for all Challenge on SCS was to make a card based on something we collect that is not craft related...I collect ladybugs...love them, they are just too cute, so when Little Paper Shop came out with {Little Lady Katie} stamp set I was in heaven! The next challenge is the Inspiration challenge 234 for today, also on SCS, the website today was Crate and Barrell, I was inspired by this piece of art work here. The colors really spoke to me...Love them!

The next challenge is from the Oh Alice challenge blog...todays challenge is to use swirls in your creation! Ohh how I love swirls!

And last but not least Little Paper Shop is also sponsoring the Card Patterns . For both of the last two challenges you have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate...that's $30 up for grabs!

I hope you like my card...I love this stamp! I also used my two way glue pen and went over all the raised image areas that I embossed and added glitter... shine makes everything better!!

Supplies:
Ink: stazon black
Paper: real red, kraft, very vanilla
Accessories: CB embossing folder, big shot, may arts ribbin, glitter, 2 way glue pen, dimentionals, watercolor pencils, blender pen, prima flower, brad button

Belated Mom...

I know it's not late yet, but it will be once it's sent! Especially since it has to go all the way to the states from Greece and it hasn't even made it into the hands of the person that asked me to make it for them! LOL

This card actually looks WAY better in real life...the flower color ACTUALLY matches the CS...but such is life, I'm out of daylight now so there will be no better pic today!

I made this card for a fun sketch challenge over at Stretch N Bubbles Sketch 5 challenge and one last entry for The Stamp Simply 137 challenge to use flowers...Found here!

This pic shows a closeup of the flower...I love how it shines with a hint of glitter...and really, the color matches soooo much better in real life!
I should also mention that on the sentiment on inside is from a set called {Bound by the Heart} and it reads...
"A child and a Mother never
truly part-Bound in the beating of each other's heart"
Which I also found fitting since this card is being sent to a mom who is faraway from her son!

Supplies:

Stamps: {Floral Frenzy} and {Bound By the Heart} both by Little Paper Shop

Paper: Baja Blue, raspberry fizz and white by PTI. DP by Basic Grey

Ink: black stazon

Accessories: watercolor pencils, blender pen, 2-way glue pen,

glitter, big shot, olivia CB alphabet, fancy border punch,

rhinestones, pink leather, black gingham ribbon

Thanks for stopping by!

Feelin' SCS CAS-N-Sketchy

I was browsing the challenges on SCS and I really loved todays sketch 275 and I also liked Mondays CAS challenge...to use only a sentiment stamp...so I combined the two challenges and this is what I came up with!
The paper I used is called "The Whimsy Stack" by DCWV. I loved the colors in the papers and the swirl...not to mention that it was already glittery and shimmery...BONUS! So once I cut my pieces all I did was attach. I cut out a scallop rectangle with my large rectangle nestabilities and then a simple textured white piece of bazzil paper. Add some delicious flowers and a designer brad and dimentionals...Voila, your card is complete!
Supplies:
Ink: stazon black
Paper: Green galore, tangerine tango, DCWV whimsy stack, white from bazzil
Accessories: brad by DCWV, big shot, nestabilities, prima flowers, crop-a-dial
Thank you so much for stopping by! Happy Stampin'

Pretty Little Box

I love making boxes...they pretty much rock! And they are useful to boot! I made this little box for a friend as a thanks for having us over...it was filled with chocolate!

But before I show you the box, I'll have to show you the card...cuz it's pretty cute too. Pretty simple but it get's the point accross!

I used my cuttlebig Olivia alphabet to cut out the "thanks" and then I used my only orange craft inks to color it... I love the pop of color it adds! And since we were going over there for dinner I thought the little table and chairs from the {Garden Gate} stamp set was a great touch!

And here is the little box...isn't it sooooo cute! I got the template from Mels Blog, and for the life of me I can't find the link now...I need to get better at saving it when I find it...poooo!

I super LOVE how the handles came out and I followed Lauren's Step by step instructions she has on her video but smaller...my clips and box were smaller than hers and I think it looks super cute, big or small!

Don't you think it's super cute? Even my friends son mentioned how awesome it was! hehehe Now that's the seal of accomplishment!

And here is the whole set...I even made a beaded pen...hadn't made one in ages LOVE them! I need me some more red tape! Good thing I have plenty of micro beads!

Supplies:

Stamps: {Garden Gate} by Little Paper Shop

Ink: Stazon black, only orange craft ink

Paper: Kiwi kiss, chocolate chip, SU! retired designer paper

Accessorie: linnen thread, basic grey buttons, word window punch, binder clips, brads, ribbon, nestabilities, chipboard, big shot, olivia alphabet by cuttlebug, 1/8 inch circle punch, micro beads, red tape, scallop edge punch

Thank you sooo much for stopping by! I do hope you'll come back soon!

Have a blessed day!

Yes she's in her underoos! I couldn't get her to get dressed that morning! Sheesh! But isn't she handling that big shot like a master!!! When we were working she kept telling me her muscles were getting bigger...and when we were done she started flexing and kissing her arms! HA!!!

Each of the favors had a tea cup and saucer, tea bag of assorted decaf tea, candy necklace, a little ring and earing stickers. The boys had chocolate coins and boyish stickers in theirs. I think the favors turned out cute and I already had a boy tell me he used his tea cup! YEAHHH!!!
