Creations By AR March Release

Hello ladies and gents! It's time for Creations By AR template release, so grab youself a cup of tea and get ready for some smashing templates! All puns intended! hahahaha I crack myself up!

The first template is for the Tea Cup Cottage...as you have probably seen from other blog posts, this cute little house will hold a variety of teas! Well when I was making this little cottage my little3 year old girl was just screatching with excitement at how cute it was and so when I finished the basic box and she batted her baby blues at me, I just couldn't say no! So my cute tea catty has now become a doll house for Polly Pocket sized dolls!

Here is my beautiful little Bella and her decorated cottage!

And here is the house with Princess Tiana in it...good thing the roof comes off!

Princess Tiana is really enjoying her house...notice her beautiful flowers!

If this isn;t cute I don't know what is!


And for the second template! We have the Smashing box! I love love love this box...perfect for some chocolates for a neighbor, friend or co-worker!

Simply print the template, cut, score and glue!

I added a tag, the stamp set is called Just Dandy by Marks Finest Papers

And here is a look at the top of the Smashing box, it has a little hole and you can just as easily put a pen in there to add to your gift!

I am in LOVE with this set...and so are my kids!

They stamped the images of this set for hours and colored them...made lots of fish tanks!

My son saw the set and wanted to make a card too (he's 6, almost 7) ...Here is his card.

He colored the fish with water color pencils and blender pens! I think he did a great job of blending and shading. I was pretty impressed!

καρναβάλι...

Or carnival as you might know it! Today we had our καρναβάλι (carnival) parade in one of the bigger villages near us called Kounoupidiana and it was a sight to see! It was a whole lot of fun with music, costumes and tons and tons of confetti! Here are some pics to give you a little taste of what we experienced today!

And this was one of my kids favorites...the giant babies! They were harry babies too!

By far the BEST float, I don't know what it was for, but pretty cool!

Bella loves her some confetti!

And who is going to clean up this mess!!!!

Sun protecting bracelet?!

Sun exposure is a huge concern now a days...too much and you get sun burned and or skin cancer...too little and you don't get enough vitamin D to help absorb calcium. So the trick is to get just enough and with the right amount of sun protection! For my babies we slather them up with SPF 50, especially our fair skinned freckled baby!

So while living here on the Island of Crete we have come across many customes and traditions, but recently I was introduced to a new one (my good friend Anna Blogged about it HERE) Anna stated that in the old Greek customs od "March" you are to make and wear a MARTI (Μάρτη - simple handcraft made of two colors of thread: white and red) You are to wear it from the biginning to the end of March and it is supposed to protect you from the first rays of spring!

The simple string bracelet is supposed to be made of red and white, but my fashion concious 3 year old princess opted for purple and white (purple is all the rage right now you now!)
