I made a challenge card!

I can not believe it myself! I have a ton of work to do. Christmas presents to wrap. Christmas presents to finish making. Santa is coming tonight (hubby has to work Christmas day and so we celebrate Christmas day on Christmas eve...did you know that Santa makes special early Christmas eve trips for those who work on Christmas day...like fire fighters and police officers, EMS and hospital personel...I know he's a pretty swell guy!) So I have to get it all done tonight and then it's off to Christmas eve service at church and then onto my parents to spend the night and wait for the big guy again...LOL I just lov Christmas!

Anywho here is my card...I like how it turned out...don't love it, just like it! Todays color challenge was to make a card using the colors So Saffron, Cameo Coral and Orchid Opulance! I automatically thought of a sunset and that is what I went for...I needed something easy so I first looked to see what card stock I already had pre cut and pre-score...so saffron won! I then used a piece of shimmery white card stock cut to 5x3.75. I then inked the top of an embossing folder with the saffron fisrt and then the cameo and last the orchid and ran it through my Big shot (love this machine!) When you do that the embossed part with be white, so I used my craft chocolate chip ink pad and ran it over the raised image a few times...doesn't it look like a sunset? For the sentiment I used my nestabilities and the sincere salutations set and some ribbon and voila! Card is made!
Supplies:
Stamps: Sincere Salutations
Ink: Orchid Opulance, Cameo Coral, So Saffron, Craft Chocolate Chip
Paper: Shimmery white, Orchid Opulance, So saffron, Cameo Coral
Accessories: Nestabilities, ribbon, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Bigshot for Stampin' Up!
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stampin'
Silvia
I pray that you have a very Merry Christmas and remember the birth of our Christ Jesus!
