Happy Valentine's Day!

So here is my Dear Husbands (DH) card... I waited until last night to make it cuz I can't keep a secret...plus he reads my blog from time to time (hi Honey!) and I didn't want him to see it!! I used the Mojomonday sketch from Julee Tilmans blog Poetic Artistry and some papers that I have had stashed for a while. Plus I got some awesome crystals from my good SCS/blogging friend Sara from Sara's Stamping Sanctuary along with some chipboard shapes, hadn't had a chance to use them yet, so there ya go! I actually LOVE the crytals and have been wanting to use them for a while now, when I saw this weeks sketch I knew they were going to be put to good use!

I love the rubons for the main image...the thing I love most is that you can use all or just a portion of the rub-on without too much effort and it still looks awesome. For this one it had 2 more scolly things on either side of the wording and I just cut it off and left it on the transfer sheet for later use...not wasteful and personalization without too much of a mess!

Seriously, this card took all of 15 minutes to make! I think it took longer to upload, resize and add a watermark than it did to create! Of course when you have such a great sketch, it really does come together rather nicely!

So go ahead...check out the mojo Julee has and make your own card! I must admit I altered the sketch just a tad, but I really do like how it turned out and I know hubby will too...at least he better! LOL

I also wanted to share with you this AWESOME box of goodies that i got from my friend Pinky...isn't she the best! So many goodies for me...Thank you soooo much I can not wait to play with all my goodies!
