Verve Visual Feb Guest Designer

As most of you know I was one of the gust designers for Verve Visual, they have some awesome clear stamps that are a joy to stamp with! When Julee Tilman over at Poetic Artistry e-mailed me and asked me to be a guest designer for her I about fell out of my chair!!!! I was sooo very excited! I hope she wasn't disappointed by what I created! Here are my projects! They were a whole lot of fun to create...youc an also look at them in the Verve Visual gallery found here.
I love how this fram turned out! I used some designer paper that I have had for quite some time (almost 2 years!!!) and covered this fram using modge Podge. I then cut out some flowers from the made sheet of paper and added them as an accent. Tied some ribbin and the fram itself was done! I wanted to add a sentiment to the inside and This set lent itself perfectly for what I was intending to do with this frame (it's a gift for a dear friend!) I stamped the sentiment on the pink vellum and the flower image in the whisper white with pink passion craft ink. The sentiment at the bottom of the frame was also stamped with stazn brown on whisper white cardstock and then used a variety of punches to layer the sentiment on! Isn't ot cute!
This card was a breeze to make! I used the Ginger blossom from SU! designer paper and just stamped the sentiment from Serenity right on it, matted it with chocolate chip and cameo coral and layered all of it onto River rock cardstock. On the river rock base I did stamp the starburst from starl;ight star bright set (also from Verve Visual). I finished off this card with the slot punch and some true thyme stitched ribbon.
For my last card I wanted to go a lit more manly! So I chose a very simple layout and color scheme...more earthy. The colors for this card are confetti white for the base, true Thyme for the scalloped layer, followed by creamy carmel and the main image is also confetti white! For the stamps I used Refuge and Strength by SU! and stamped the sentiment from Serenity by Verve Visual on top of the card. The designer paper is a retired SU! print that I got the color scheme from! I hope you enjoyedthe projects I created for my Guest Designer spot for Verve Visual! Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stampin'
Silvia
