LPS January Sneak Peek 1

Hello ladies ad gents! It's that time again...Little Paper Shop is going to be releasing 3 BRAND NEW sets on the 15th and I get to start showing them to you today! Aren't you so very excited!!! I know I am! I lvoe these new little guys and I am soooo excited to share with you what I have created so far! The fisrt set I get to show you is called {Make Your Own Mug} and it's created by a BRAND NEW illustrator! You may already know who she is as she has been a party of the Little Paper Shop Design Team for some time now, bit has finally taken the jump to Illustrater and boy am I glad she did! Who is she? Her name is Elyssa and her blog is called Confessions of a Teenage Scrapper trust me you will want her set! This girl came out with a bang!!!

For my first project I decided to create a box for some coffee, my sisster-in-law owns a coffee shop and she sells ...what...COFFEE and I thought this little box would be perfect for her to put a little bag of grounds in there to sell... I tink she will like it! The box measures 4x4 and I simply cut my designer paper slightly smaller that than each side and adhered it. I then stamped the coffee gound images using brown stazon ink directly on the designer paper. for the images I stamped them on whisper white paper, colored them with water color pencils and then used blender pens to smooth it all together and cut them out!

To get that nice little rectangle in the middle I actually used a rectangle nestabilties die and an exacto knife. I tried to hold the die as still as possible, but it slipped a little hints the placement of the mug and beans...LOL

Once the rectanle was cut I used some sticky trip and a small piece of acetate and adhered it to the inside...VOILA perfect box with a window! LOVE IT!!! I guess I sould of placed the die on the inside and then ran it through the machine, but hey I like to do things the hard way...LOL

And here is a view from the top so you can see my GORGEOUS ribbon skills LOL
