Same Same Challenge 2

Okay ladies (and gents if your out there reading this) I am sooo excited about todays same same challenge... I only usd a wheel and a sentiment and the colors to me are very cool! I said to me, so if you don't like them sorry!

For this challenge I used the new Classic Stars wheel from SU! and the Nursery necessities stamp set for the sentiment.

for both cards I also used the large star punch and th 1 3/8th circle punches and the piercing mat and a pin to pierce

For this first card I used pretty in pink, green galore and barely banana cardstock. I stamped the wheeled image in pretty in pink on pretty in pink ( 1 1/4 inches by 9 inches long) cardstock and layered it on barely banana cardstock (1 3/8 inches by 9 inches long). Then I wheeled the images again in both colors on whisper white cardstock and cut them out with my paper snips. Finally I arranged them on my card base (green galore here) and did some paper piercing.

To pierce the star with precision, I simply punched out a star layered it on the card where I wanted it and used my pin and mat to pierce around it. to finish it off I just stamped the sentiment with basic black on the pixie pink cardstock and voila...you are done!

No the pink little star on the big star was a happy accident and I was not able to do it agai on the bottom card, that is why they are a tad bit different.

And here is my same same card copied! I really like it in these colors too and I love this card soo much I might try it in yet another color combo... we will see how much time i have today!

I unfortunately did NOT have the fisrt card in front of me when I made this second one, so the stars are a little different, but they are ALL from the same wheel!
