What's your color?

Today's challenge on Splitcoast stampers is to create a card using one ONE color and any neutral...so here is my color...Purely Pomegranate...I love this color and will be sad to see it go... I know I have till August, but a girl's gotta prepare herself! I used a set I got not too long ago...earned it for FREE! The fun thing is i was cleaning my craft basement and I found all these pieces all cut up already...so if you think the layout looks familiar...I've probably already made a card similar!

I cut the card width wise and folded it in half. Next I stamped the flower images on the pomegranate with pomegranate ink and the sentiment with basic black ink. Then I made a mask for the circle image ( I stamped it on scratch paper and then used the 1 1/4 inch punch for the center easiest mask ever!) I then stamped the flower image in pomegranate one more time and VOILA! The only think left to do is add the ribbon and slider and call this card done! Cute don't you think?

as always...thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stampin'

Very cute! Love the colors and your layout. Beautiful card!

You asked about the Zutter Cutter on my blog. I finally discovered a little secret...start punching in the middle of your project and work your way out to both ends. I punch the center, then slide to the right until the notch for matching is in one of the first holes just punched. Then I take the project out, flip it around and punch the remaining side. By punching the center first, you are always certain you won't punch too close to the outer edges.

Maybe I should try a picture tutorial. I'll be doing another one in a week or so getting ready for a mini album class. I've had several people ask. I just learned by trial and error (as in SEVERAL errors!!!) HTH!
