The scrapbook pages you just saw! Todays inspiration challenge on Splitcoaststampers is to create a card that was inspired by a scrapbook page...here is mine! I loved that little monkey and I needed a birthday card for a kids birthday party tomorrow...so I thought...hey why not!
The card itself was super easy to create...just some scraps of paper haphazardly glued in place...the I stamped the vine from Mindy's Zoo across the top in blue bayou ink and cut two slits using my paper trimmer...one above the vne and one below. Next I stamped the monkey in stazon black and colored him in using my blender pens and ink pads. Finaly the only hard part of this whole card! Cutting out the monkey ever sooooo gently! The I slid his tail through the two little slits so that it looks like he is swinging..cute huh?

Anyways I just love the sentiment from SU! Older and Wiser stamp set and then added some faux stitching...amazing how much a little stitching can add to a card! I hope you like it and I hope the 4 year old likes it too!
P.S. Look for some blog candy to come your way soon!
